Hello all… as you’ve noticed things have changed around here so sorry to all the fans of the old site even though I’ve never heard from you and don’t believe you actually exist.

This was going to be a post about the plans I have for the site in the future and about all the changes you’ll be seeing as I try to find a flavour you and I are happy with but it’s all gone wrong this morning, I’ve been robbed.

I woke up and started taking some snaps for the pic-a-day project I’ve been doing and discovered while setting up a for a shot that Hermes, my 6yr old tortoise, had been taken during the night from his burrow.  I’ve searched everywhere he could be and many places he couldn’t but he’s gone. This is really upsetting as I’ve had him since he was only weeks old and I’ve since spent the whole day contacting vets, pet shops, the police and tortoise websites. We also have posters made up and I’ve stuck them round the local streets in case the thief had a change of heart and decided to let Hermes go or was just a drunken curious idiot.
