This cool little app allows you to send Tweets to a special twitter account that will shut down, restart or log you off from a PC remotely. even better is that there’s soon going to be a new version that will feature…

It took me a while to work out why this feature could be necessary at all but now I think about it, it does have quite some appeal. If you’ve left your work PC on accidentally, or had to leave before a download had completed you can now shut down remotely… or in future updates get screenshots and status updates, all from your mobile phone. It completely removes the need for a PC that other VPN solutions are encumbered with. Personally I won’t be using it in its current state (I’ve just got nothing that I need to shut down remotely) but will be keeping an eye on it’s development, I think this app has a lot of potential.
