Incredible indoor cycling

As far as I can tell this is a video of the 2009 Indoor-cycling; European Junior Championships showing the 2008 (and 9?) champions Carla and Henriette Hochdorfer. Despite that hugely dull sounding introduction this clip is astounding and they are really REALLY impressive! I’m totally blown away by what they can do on their bikes, the best I can do is no hands. \o/

Funktion – Escape your boring gym

If every gym had machines like this I’d totally go, and that’s coming from a die hard fixie lover! What a great Idea for a marketing stunt from the people over at Funktion training. I’ve long wondered why people go to a gym to have a cycle or a run when they could run or cycle for free anywhere they like, as Funktion point out, it’s not about the gym, it’s all about the program.

This one is quickly going viral and I can see why. Not only is it visually compelling but it’s a fantastic shift in the portrayal of the modern gamer, away from the traditional teenage male in his bedroom to the successful sophisticated and successful tech savvy adult.

Yooouuutuuube what I imagine the child of YTMND and Youtube would look like, it was only ever a matter of time really before something like this came along and I think it’s great! Here’s a little sample or of course you can go and make one of your own, assuming that the site hasn’t fallen over under the weight of it’s own success already.
